In 2000, Bob Dockery, Jr., an avid international traveler, began the Travel and Enjoy newsletter as a resource for the thousands of visitors and subscribers to the Travel and Enjoy website. Subscribers received free travel club memberships which offered information on top travel destinations, group tours, discounts for hotels, resorts, restaurants, entertainment attractions and more. Due to the overwhelming demand for more black cultural travel news and information, Travel and Enjoy Newsletter became a full-fledged print magazine. In 2011, after more than three years of head-scratching and lots of research about how to make a travel magazine work in this economy, Travel and Enjoy Magazine became an online publication.
Our goal is to be as personal and interactive as possible in providing our readers with first-hand information about destinations around the world.
